Why In The News?

ULOOK Technologies, a Bengaluru-based space intelligence startup, has raised ₹19 crore in a seed round led by growX Ventures and InfoEdge Ventures.

The injection of capital is slated to accelerate ULOOK’s mission of building indigenous radio-frequency (RF) intelligence systems, aligning with India’s push for technological sovereignty in space and security domains.

What ULOOK Does

ULOOK is developing smart systems that can detect and analyse radio signals from space using small satellites and drones.

Its main product, PulseTrack, helps create real-time awareness about how different signals move through the air, which can be used for purposes like tracking ships, disaster response, environmental monitoring, and defense operations.

The company was founded by Siddhesh Naik and Adheesh Boratkar, who have backgrounds in satellite programs and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Their goal is to make space-based sensing and communication faster, cheaper, and more reliable.

What’s Next for ULOOK

With this new funding, ULOOK plans to grow its team, improve its hardware and software, and test its technologies in real-world situations.

The company aims to move its systems from the early design phase to full-scale operational readiness within the next year and a half.

By doing so, ULOOK hopes to become a strong player in India’s SpaceTech ecosystem, helping the country strengthen its capabilities in satellite intelligence and global signal-tracking technology.
