Fresh capital to scale a growing pet care platform

Supertails has raised 30 million dollars in a funding round led by Venturi Partners, with participation from Nippon India Alternative Investments, Titan Capital Winners Fund and existing backers including Fireside Ventures, RPSG Capital Ventures, Sauce VC and Saama Capital.

The funding marks a significant milestone for the Bengaluru based startup as it looks to scale its presence in a rapidly evolving pet care market in India.

Building an end to end pet care ecosystem

Founded in 2021 by Varun Sadana, Aman Tekriwal and Vineet Khanna, Supertails has positioned itself as a full stack pet care platform. The company operates physical veterinary clinics and grooming centres, offers at home veterinary services and runs a digital commerce platform for pet essentials.

Its clinics in Bengaluru provide round the clock care, inpatient departments, advanced diagnostics and modern operation theatres, with plans to expand to more cities.

Combining healthcare, convenience and commerce

Alongside clinical services, Supertails offers quick delivery of over 30,000 pet products, including strong pharmacy coverage. The platform has also expanded into fresh and home style pet meals and everyday essentials for pet parents.

It has onboarded more than 500 brands across food, accessories and wellness, while building a nationwide network of over 100 veterinarians including surgeons, diagnostics experts and tele consultation professionals trained in fear free practices.

Why this funding matters

Pet care in India remains a fragmented market with limited access to consistent and trusted services. Supertails is working to organise this space by bringing healthcare, grooming, nutrition and commerce under one ecosystem.

The company believes Indian consumers are increasingly viewing pets as family members and are seeking reliable, long term support across every stage of a pet’s life.

What comes next for Supertails

The newly raised capital will be used to expand clinics and veterinary services, grow the overall ecosystem, improve personalisation for pet parents and strengthen fulfilment capabilities across key cities.

As demand for organised pet care continues to rise, Supertails aims to play a central role in shaping how pet healthcare and services scale in India.
