Smart Garage has raised Rs 2.4 crore in a pre Series A round as part of a broader plan to secure Rs 15 crore in total capital over the coming months.
The company plans to deploy the funding toward strengthening its AI capabilities, expanding its workshop network, and improving operational efficiency across its platform. It is also targeting a revenue run rate of Rs 80 crore by the end of FY27.
India’s automotive aftermarket remains highly fragmented with limited digitization across workshops and service providers.
Smart Garage is attempting to solve this gap by building a connected ecosystem that links vehicle owners, workshops, insurers, OEM partners, and fleet operators through a unified technology platform.
If executed at scale, this model could improve transparency, reduce service delays, and standardize quality across the repair network.
Smart Garage operates an AI driven B2B2C marketplace that connects multiple stakeholders in the vehicle service lifecycle.
The platform enables workshops to access diagnostics support, repair recommendations, inventory optimization tools, job card automation, and analytics dashboards that improve service quality and efficiency.
Vehicle owners and enterprise partners benefit from faster coordination and more structured service workflows.
Garages onboarded to the platform gain access to digital tools designed to streamline operations and improve decision making.
These include vehicle diagnostics assistance, predictive maintenance insights, structured workflow management, and inventory optimization systems.
Over time, Smart Garage plans to monetize these capabilities through SaaS subscriptions alongside transaction based revenue streams.
The company currently works with more than 500 partner garages across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
Its long term goal is to expand this network to more than 10,000 workshops by 2030 while deepening integrations with insurance companies, OEM partners, and fleet operators.
The funding will also support structured onboarding and training programs to standardize service quality across its growing partner network.
Smart Garage currently generates revenue through franchise operations and spare parts supply via Pikpart.
The company plans to gradually introduce commission based services and recurring SaaS subscriptions as adoption of its digital platform increases.
This shift signals a move toward a more scalable and technology driven business model within the automotive aftermarket sector.
