Fintech Startup PeLocal Raises $5 Million in Series A Round

ISB’s I-HEAL selects 15-high potential health startups out of 173 entries from the startup ecosystem.

The Indian School of Business (ISB), through its incubation arm DLabs, in collaboration with healthtech leader CitiusTech, has launched the third cohort of its  healthcare accelerator program, I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0. This initiative aims to foster innovation in digital health by supporting startups that have progressed beyond the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage. The program offers these startups mentorship, market access, and resources to scale their impact in the healthcare sector. 

The I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0 program received 173 applications from startups across India. After a rigorous selection process, 15 high-potential startups were chosen to participate in the cohort. These startups span diverse thematic areas, including digital health, women’s and children’s health, disease diagnostics, healthcare management and infrastructure, and geriatric care.

The 15 startups selected for the I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0 cohort represent a diverse range of innovative healthcare solutions. Prodoc AI leverages AI to simplify patient interactions, while Alfaleus Tech focuses on improving glaucoma care through advanced tools. Remap Intelligence is developing neuro-rehabilitation solutions, and Piltover Technologies has created the IDA M-SERIES I, a functional mechanical prosthetic hand. 

Cureous Labs introduces Eturnal, a patient repositioning system, and Chrogene Aarogyam provides non-invasive diagnostics for sickle cell disease. Vidcare Innovations offers accessible diagnostic solutions, and Tap Health simplifies chronic care management through early illness detection. Onward Assist is building a cancer analytics platform to aid pathologists, while SynerSense develops digital therapeutics and biomechanics assessment tools. Zeuron.ai introduces MiMo (Mind-Motion), a neuro-computer health console, and Redicine Medsol focuses on medication precision. Femacare aims to revolutionize women’s health, Kode Blue has launched ‘Beyond the Siren,’ an advanced emergency management system, and Apex Cura provides AI-powered SaaS solutions for small and mid-sized hospitals. 

Together, these startups exemplify cutting-edge healthcare innovation, addressing critical gaps in diagnostics, patient care, and health management.
