The Story of BharatSah’AI’yak

BharatSah’AI’yak was developed by Samagra, a public governance consultancy. It is a purpose-built AI platform designed for the public sector, with applications spanning education, agriculture, governance, and citizen services.

It focuses on vernacular languages, making it easier for people to access AI in their native tongue. Some of its key use cases include:

  • KumbhSah’AI’yak: A chatbot developed for the Maha Kumbh 2025, providing pilgrims with 24/7 information on rituals, navigation, lodging, and local attractions.

  • AMA Krushi AI: A voice-based advisory tool used in Odisha, offering farmers agriculture-related advice and updates on government schemes in local languages.

Why did Krutrim acquire BharatSah’AI’yak?

Krutrim plans to scale BharatSahAIyak nationwide using its own AI models, agentic platform “Kruti,” and cloud infrastructure.

The acquisition also brought Samagra’s core AI team into Krutrim to ensure a smooth transition and further innovation.

This move is part of Krutrim’s broader vision to build an end-to-end AI ecosystem tailored to India’s linguistic and cultural context.
