A new fundraising reality television show called Ideabaaz – India ka apna startup manch will debut on Z TV and Z5 in October 2025. Designed to bring entrepreneurship into the prime-time spotlight, the show aims to feature high-impact startups from across India.
It will be produced in multiple Indian languages, so founders from every region, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, can tell their stories and gain exposure.
To select these startups, Ideabaaz has collaborated with TapstartX as its Startup Community Partner, and IITM Global as Knowledge Partner. TapstartX has been tasked with curating promising ventures, both bootstrapped and funded, working across sectors like sustainability, technology, consumer brands and D2C.
Ideabaaz puts a strong emphasis on democratizing entrepreneurship. Beyond just metros, the show will highlight startups from smaller towns and cities, in order to reflect the true diversity of India’s entrepreneurial energy. Founders from non-traditional backgrounds will get a chance to present their ideas to a national audience, and language barriers will be reduced through the multilingual format.
The show’s format, featuring a mix of both bootstrapped and funded startups, ensures that both early-stage and more mature ventures are represented. This mix allows viewers and investors alike to see a full spectrum of innovation, from those just starting out to those looking to scale.
