Why In The News?

Google for Startups India has launched a new training program called “Startup School: Prompt to Prototype.” The program will run from November 27 to December 7, 2025, and is meant to help early-stage founders learn how to use artificial intelligence (AI) to build their first products or prototypes.

It is being organized with the help of the MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, NASSCOM, and the IndiaAI Mission, showing a strong partnership between Google and the Indian government.

Who Is This Programme For?

The Startup School: Prompt to Prototype is designed for early-stage founders and entrepreneurs across India, including those from Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

It’s meant for people who have creative business ideas but may not have deep technical or coding skills. The program aims to help them turn their concepts into working AI-based products.

How Can One Register?

Registration can be done online through the Google for Startups India platform. The program will run from November 27 to December 7, 2025.

What Can One Expect From This Programme?

Participants will get hands-on training with tools like Gemini, Imagen, Veo, Nano Banana, NotebookLM, and AI Studio. They will learn how to ideate, design, and build AI-powered prototypes, with guidance from mentors and industry experts.

On completing the two-week course, founders will earn a Google-recognised certificate and may qualify for the “Build the Future” Showcase in January 2026, an event that provides more mentorship and exposure.

According to Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups India, AI is changing how startups are built—making innovation possible even without advanced coding skills.

By offering training and mentorship, Google aims to make India a global hub for AI-first entrepreneurship, supporting young innovators and helping them scale their ideas into real businesses.
