US-based venture capital firm Expert Dojo has committed $15 million from its new $100 million global fund specifically for Indian early-stage startups.

But this isn’t just a capital deployment—it’s a strategic bet on India’s potential to produce globally competitive ventures.

With a mix of funding, mentorship, and market access, the move opens doors for Indian founders to think beyond borders and build globally relevant businesses.

Why Founders Should Not Miss Out

Expert Dojo isn’t offering just money.

Their model includes a comprehensive support framework that founders rarely get from traditional VC setups—especially at the seed stage.

Startups funded through this initiative will gain access to Expert Dojo’s global mentor network, hands-on growth accelerators, and direct go-to-market partnerships in the US and beyond. This drastically improves not just the chances of scaling internationally but also building a defensible, investor-attractive business early on.

For Indian founders who often struggle with global exposure or international investor backing, this is a game-changer. The investment range of $50,000 to $1 million is aimed at de-risking early growth, while founders get actively coached through their journey—a level of engagement that can bridge capability gaps and fast-track maturity.

Bengaluru as Basecamp

By setting up shop in Bengaluru, Expert Dojo is signalling long-term intent. The move localizes global capital and eases compliance, but more importantly, it enables Indian founders to co-create with global partners while staying rooted in their own market.

As General Partner Ashutosh Kumar Jha explained, the goal is to create an “India-US corridor of innovation” where Indian startups can get US market access, customer intros, and investor visibility from day one.

The VC firm has already backed over 30 Indian startups—including Cloudworx, Mugafi, Doqfy, and Consuma—proving its skin in the game. With an additional $30 million earmarked over the next few years, this isn’t a one-time initiative, but a sustained effort to incubate India’s global startup champions.

With Expert Dojo investing $15 million in Indian startups, founders have more than just funding on the table—they have a gateway to international growth.

For early-stage ventures, especially in SaaS, fintech, B2B and AI, this presents a rare opportunity to blend Indian market advantage with global scale ambitions.
