Why in the news?

Campus fund is a place that assists India’s brightest student entrepreneurs with capital, mentorship & community and this fund has just launched its third and largest fund with a target corpus of $100M.

Founded by Richa Bajpai, Campus Fund is registered as a Sebi Category II AIF and exclusively invests in founders who are in university, have dropped out of college or graduated within the past three years.

“This is a full-circle moment for me,” says Richa Bajpai. “I started in a dorm room with nothing but an idea and ambition. To now back students chasing bold ideas — that’s the most meaningful chapter of my career.”

More Than Just Funding

Campus Fund doesn’t just invest money — it helps student founders at every step of their journey. From building a strong team to launching their product and raising their next round, the fund is there to guide them through it all.

Founders also get access to a powerful network of mentors, industry leaders, and investors who can open the right doors at the right time. The goal is to help turn early ideas into real, high-impact startups.

Every year, Campus Fund looks at over 7,000 startup ideas, thanks to its team of 100+ student scouts from top colleges across India. This helps them discover the most promising student-led ventures before anyone else.

So far, they’ve backed startups like:

  • Digantara (space-tech)

  • Sama (online dispute resolution, which has also been featured in Shark Tank)

  • EtherealX (reusable rockets)

  • GreenGrahi (insect-based protein)

These startups all began with young founders and bold ideas — exactly the kind of energy Campus Fund is built to support.
