Bangalore’s startup culture is not just limited to Azim Premji and N.R. Narayana Murthy, but also includes these adorable new-gen entrepreneurs, all under the age of 11. Their names are Sharada, Nachiketa, and Samudyata.
In a truly heartwarming display, three school children have turned an idea into a business. The trio launched a startup named Eco Wala, producing glue-free, handmade paper bags.
The young founders describe their business model: two paper bags are delivered every Sunday, a small subscription fee of ₹10 per month, and free samples are offered to first-time customers.
Their pitch video went viral soon after being shared on Instagram, sparking admiration across social media.
The idea for Eco Wala began as a school project in their neighbourhood of Basaveshwaranagar, Bengaluru.
What started in the classroom soon turned into a small business with a clear purpose: encouraging people to use paper instead of plastic and to think more consciously about waste.
Their pitch video, first shared on Startupro.in’s Instagram page, quickly went viral, crossing over 3.3 million views. People online have praised the kids’ confidence, teamwork, and clear communication, calling the idea “a lesson in environmental responsibility delivered for ₹10 a month.”
Many also noted how calm and sincere the children were while presenting their plan.
Among those who noticed was Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Group, who reposted the video on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “Forget Shark Tank, forget Ideabaaz, this pitch stole my heart.” His comment brought even more attention to the young founders and their eco-friendly idea.
