Funding announcement

Angoor AI, a Bengaluru based AI native customer interaction platform, has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre seed funding round led by Venturizer. The round also saw participation from angel investors including Uday Sodhi, Tarun Billa, and Mayank Singh Tomar.

The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its product and engineering teams as it builds its platform further.

Why this news matters

Customer communication today is spread across multiple platforms including messaging apps, email, websites, and voice interfaces. While brands are present across these channels, their understanding of the customer often remains fragmented.

Startups like Angoor AI are attempting to solve this structural gap by building systems that unify customer context across interactions. This approach reflects a broader shift toward intelligence driven customer infrastructure.

What the company does

Founded in October 2023 by IIT Bombay graduates Arpit Agrawal, Anuj Agrawal, and Rishabh Kumar, Angoor AI is building a contextual intelligence layer for B2C businesses.

The platform sits on top of existing CRM, marketing, support, and sales tools and creates a unified view of customer interactions across channels and lifecycle stages.

How the platform works

Angoor AI integrates with a company’s existing communication and engagement stack rather than replacing it. It connects fragmented interaction points and builds a continuous context layer that travels with the customer across platforms.

This allows teams to access a single evolving understanding of each customer rather than switching between disconnected tools.

What comes next

With the new funding, the company plans to expand its engineering and product capabilities. The focus will remain on strengthening the platform’s ability to support seamless cross channel customer interaction for modern B2C businesses.
