Akshat Shrivastava began his MBA journey at INSEAD, one of the world’s most prestigious business schools. He worked with consulting giants like Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Dalberg. These roles gave him exposure to high-stakes projects, global strategy, and the problem-solving rigour that consultants are known for.
Alongside this corporate path, another interest was quietly growing. Even in his early twenties, Akshat had been teaching students who were preparing for exams such as the GMAT and GRE.
What started as a side activity soon revealed his real strength. He had a natural ability to take complicated ideas and explain them in ways that were practical and easy to understand.
Finance and investing, subjects that often appear intimidating, became clear and approachable when he explained them.
This passion eventually grew into Wisdom Hatch, the education platform he founded.
Through it, he created courses on investing, real estate and management consulting, combining theory with his personal experience as a full-time investor.
He has spent more than fifteen years in the stock market, over eight years in real estate and more than four years in crypto.
He frequently posts stock market analysis, where he identifies companies he believes can grow in the next decade, such as his video on “5 High Growth Stocks for the Next 10 Years.” He also reviews sectors like technology, energy, and manufacturing, explaining how policy changes or global shifts may create opportunities.
In the area of macroeconomics, he creates content on big risks and trends, for instance, videos on whether the Indian market is in a bubble using five macro indicators, or whether artificial intelligence and debt bubbles could trigger a global slowdown.
When it comes to portfolio strategy, he explains how investors can balance between Indian and US equities, when to rotate sectors, and how to structure portfolios that can outperform most fund managers.
He also dedicates videos to investor psychology, such as “10 Dumb Ways Retail Investors Are Losing Money,” where he shows the pitfalls of panic selling, chasing trends, or overleveraging.
In addition, he regularly focuses on financial literacy and myths, encouraging viewers to challenge popular but misleading ideas about quick wealth, the middle-class trap, or the belief that only elite degrees can secure financial success.
Before creating the platform, he worked as a management consultant with BCG and Dalberg, sharpening his expertise in business strategy and problem-solving.
His teaching journey began at the age of twenty, when he coached students for competitive exams like the GMAT and GRE, and later expanded into mentoring on management consulting and business.
Today, he has built a digital presence of more than 3.5 million followers across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Through Wisdom Hatch, he has mentored more than 65,000 students via courses, workshops, and live sessions that focus on financial independence and practical investing.
The platform offers crash courses on stock markets, in-person investment workshops, and specialised programs like “Real Estate as an Income Source” and “Management Consulting Mastery.”
It also provides a global investing community where learners gain access to live classes, portfolio dashboards, and tailored strategies for retail investors, HNIs, and NRIs. By combining his experience in consulting, investing, and teaching, Akshat has positioned Wisdom Hatch as a hub for actionable financial education rather than just theory.
